The Mayor and Board of Commissioners for the Town of Blowing Rock met in special session on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at 4:30 p.m. Present were Mayor J. B. Lawrence, Council Members Barbara Ball, Keith Tester, Rita Wiseman, David Wray, and Town Clerk Barbara Beach. Council Member Terry Lentz was unable to attend. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss negotiations and an offer to Scott Hildebran for the position of Town Manager. Council members agreed to hire Mr. Hildebran and Mayor Lawrence will offer the position to Mr. Hildebran with a salary not to exceed $62,000. The meeting was adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
