The Mayor and Board of Commissioners for the Town of Blowing Rock met in special called session on Thursday, May 6, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. Present were Mayor J. B. Lawrence, Commissioners Terry Lentz, Keith Tester, Rita Wiseman, and David Wray. Also present were Town Manager Scott Hildebran and Town Clerk Barbara Beach.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss a personnel matter. Mayor Lawrence called the meeting to order. Upon motion of Mr. Tester, second by Ms. Wiseman, Council voted unanimously to convene in closed session by authorization of North Carolina General Statutes 143-318.11(6).

After re-convening in open session, there was no further business, and Mayor Lawrence adjourned the meeting at 10:30 a.m.
