The Mayor and Board of Commissioners for the Town of Blowing Rock met in special called session on Friday, May 3, 2002 at 8:00 a.m. at the office of Town Attorney Allen Moseley in Boone. Present were Mayor J. B. Lawrence, Commissioners Barbara Ball, Keith Tester, David Wray, Terry Lentz, and Rita Wiseman. Also present were Town Manager Don Holycross, and Town Clerk Barbara Beach.

The purpose of the meeting was to consult with the Town Attorney under the authorization of NCGS 143-318.11(3). Upon motion duly entered and seconded, the Board voted unanimously to convene in closed session.

There was no further business, and the meeting was adjourned at 10:55 a.m.
