Training

Through its training sessions the Blowing Rock Fire Department works to enhance the ability of firefighters to deal more effectively with fire and related emergencies. Our members go through hours and hours of training so our firefighters can provide quality customer service to those in need, and learn the most effective methods of mitigating life and property losses. Kent Graham, training officer, facilitates the monthly training programs, which is designed to assist firefighters by providing a reality-based fireground training session.
