Welcome to the official website for the Town of Blowing Rock, NC. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our beautiful resort Town. The quaint mountain village of Blowing Rock sits astride the Eastern Continental Divide at a cool 4,000 foot elevation.

The Town of Blowing Rock has a permanent year-round population of approximately 1,425 and is situated along US Highways 321 and 221, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Blowing Rock, known as "the Crown of the Blue Ridge", is a very special place to live, work, and play. We are the only full service community on the Blue Ridge Parkway and are centrally located to many High Country attractions.
